UAL Showcase is an always-on global platform that provides a space for recent graduates to share their work and make connections. With a proposition refresh in 2024 centred on celebrating graduates’ work and shaping creative industries, an identity refresh was needed.

An identity refresh that brings individual voices in without losing the recognition and coherence that the platform has been building.

Main graphic device, referencing screens and access to work online. The frames adjust to fit student work imagery and hold the content inside. A maximum of 3 frames are used, forming the UAL brandmark.




Imagery is from graduates’ work published on the platform. It is impactful and inspiring.
Introduces a secondary colour drawn from students’ work, elevating the individual without fragmenting the whole. It keeps core black and white for institutional messaging across colleges, and introduces colour for college-specific messaging.







Although Showcase mainly lives online, when moving into the physical space, frames adapt to replicate shapes that can be found at the colleges. Iconic stairs, bridges, arches and other shapes frame the content for a limited time.

A campaign system to welcome 13,000 new and returning students to the UAL creative community.
